The IMPA program is a one-year English degree program offered by the School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University. It is designed for government officials from developing countries and focuses on enhancing cooperation and exchanges between those countries. It aims to expand participants’ ability to apply public administrative theories and tools, to gain a better understanding of China’s development practices and to build leadership skills necessary for problem-solving in transition countries. The IMPA program was launched in 2008 in order to share the successes and failures of China’s development experiences and to make contributions to the practice of international development.

Located in the north of Tsinghua University, Zijing Apartments (紫荆公寓) is the most modernised student dormitory in China and the largest, able to accommodate 22,400 students. Zijing comprises 26 blocks, with 23 buildings ranging from 7 to 15 stories. The total construction area amounts to 350,000 m2 (3,800,000 sq ft). The cost for the apartments are below.
