Description

The Bachelor’s in International Economy & Trade at Changzhou University is a four-year program for international students taught in English.

This program was created in response to today’s increasing demand for students trained in international economics and trade, as a result of growing globalization and interdependence among different economies. Students will develop capabilities to international economic and business activities, systematically understand the basic theories of international economics, build a strong grounding in international business practices and international trade rules, and be well-prepared for the complexities in international business organizations. On-campus international student dormitory is available and there are two types of room for choice on the principle of first come first serve.

Room type 1: One apartment with three double rooms, three bathrooms, one living room, one kitchen, three balconies

Room type 2: One apartment with two three-bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living room, one kitchen, two balconies

Facilities: Electrical appliances like fridge, washing machine, microwave, hot plate, air-conditioners are equipped, dining table, study desk, and chair are also provided.

About the University Summary

CCZU covers an area of 100 hectares on two campuses. Located in Changzhou Science and education Town, the university has established close links with other institutes and universities. The university has 1500 full-time staff, over18000 undergraduates and over 1600 postgraduates studying in 15 faculties andHuaide College, and over 8000 students studying in the adult learning programs.CCZU offers a wide range of degree programs from Ph.D. to bachelor’s programs, covering most academic areas.

Research and education have interacted in CCZU, which contributes to the continuous improvement of education quality. Up till now, the university has won top national science awards in China, including three-second prizes for National Science and Technology Progress, and the one-second prize for National TechnologicalInvention. By the end of 2013, CCZU has undertaken 41 national science foundation projects, 6 national social science foundation projects, and won 65provincial science awards and many small projects. Its scientific funds have amounted to 160 million RMB (about 18.7 million Euros).

CCZUemphasizes the internationalization of education. It has signed agreements for cooperative programs and research projects with over 20 renowned overseas institutions and enterprises, including institutions in Chile, Finland, Germany, Japan, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the UK, the US, etc. The university has also established all-round cooperation with China’s major companies and local enterprises and governments.
