What is the average cost to rent private Apartment for International Students in China?

Irrespective of the city you live in, Prices of accommodation vary depending on the size, location, and state of a property, but an average student house in Beijing and Shanghai costs about $500 a month, and in Second-tier cities like Tianjin, Nanjing, Xian is about $300 a month.

Students should note that Utility bills are not included in Rent charges. You will be served bills for postpaid meters but usually, prepaid arrangements will mean you pa ahead of time. Utility bills (gas, water, and electricity) can be about $20 per month depending on room consumption and season. When you share an apartment, you will share these bills with your roommate. It is always important to pa your share of the bills on time

- Applicants should have secured an admission into a university with offer letters released
- An email address that you have access to. Most Universities will like to communicate admission status directly to students
- Scholarship status – If you applied to a scholarship scheme, you have extra details to consider. Scholarship beneficiaries usually do not have options as universities allot them rooms but fee-paying students have the options to decide.

International Students who have applied to universities and completed their accommodation applications can check the status of their admissions through our systems. Scholarship students can find their allotted halls and residence on their offer letters
Accepting an Offer

Check your emails always and keep an eye on application status. Some International Students are required to make deposit payments for universities to guarantee their rooms. These policies differ from one university to another. Scholarship Applicants should speak with our program advisors or International student office for assistance
